Seven Hundred Years of Grief Ago
16.06.21

The first poem in ‘Terrain’ our anthology of poetry about place, is by Iris Anne Lewis. Originally from Wales, Iris now lives in Gloucestershire. She took up creative writing on retirement and quickly found that poetry was her favourite form of writing. Landscape, myth and history often feature in her work. She enjoys being part of her local poetry community, participating in workshops, readings and open mics. In 2018 she founded Wordbrew, a small group of poets in the Cirencester area, who meet to share their poetry and hone their writing skills.
