Thank you, Sophie! I enjoyed hearing your Ridgeway story and found it very moving. I thought you brought out the contrasting perspectives of the walkers and their back stories clearly and conveyed a lot in a short space, something not easily achieved. An ideal story for the fifteen-minute radio slot!
Thank you so much Helen. I really appreciate the fact you took the time to comment. I walked the Ridgeway a few years ago and it made a deep impression on me.
Wonderful. Deeply moving. Another superbly narrated story that brought to mind the Camino to Santiago de Compostela – lifetime lessons and reflections encountered in the focused ‘bringing together’ that pilgrimage facilitates. ‘It feels as if it has taken a lifetime for me to reach this point, though it’s only been only six days. Ahead I can see the beacon. I am almost there’ – again: thank you!
That’s so kind of you.
